Unfortunately, todays diet is rich in foods that are harmful to the colon and causes mucoid plaque (old mucous) to cover the colons walls and provide a breeding ground for parasites, bacteria and viruses. The mucoid plaque also inhibits the absorption and assimilation of many critical nutrients that the body needs for optimal functioning. The breeding ground for unfriendly bacteria that is created suppresses the growth of friendly bacteria who are also partly responsible for proper digestion. All this further compounds the chronic health problems that face almost every person in the western world today who eats the typical diet. As a result, the western world faces some mind boggling problems, such as childhood obesity, constipation, bloating, gas, wind and flatulence, heart disease, bowel cancer, diabetes, arthritis, depression, osteoporosis, hyperacidity, bad breath, insomnia, heartburn, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, swollen prostate and prostate cancer, stress and more.
It has been estimated by many natural health practitioners that over 90% of todays health problems could be cured by cleansing the colon and organs, eating a diet rich in alkaline forming foods and switching to a vegetarian, or mostly vegetarian diet.

A Suggested Path to Better Health:
1) Start to adopt a healthier eating regime and ultimately adopt a vegetarian, or mostly vegetarian diet
2) Detox the body with a good internal cleansing program which will remove toxins from the body and restores digestive function.
3) Start (or continue) exercising. For most people stomach exercises are very important at this step to help bring regularity to the colon and tone to the abdomen. We highly recommend skipping with a jump rope.
4) Think positive and be grateful for all you have. Try to do healthy and positive things, like riding a bike, surfing or swimming, bushwalking, rock climbing, laughing, loving and all things good.
